Finals on monday...and a lil human psychology

My first paper is on monday. We had this big gap to prepare but as usual I havent started studying. Its the hardest thing Ive found in life.....STARTING something.

You know I think everybody has somethings that they find hard doing. For me, Its starting something. Anything really, from studying, to going out, to applyin for jobs....I JUST cant seem to ever take that first step till there isnt much time left...or I havent got much choice left. Though when I DO get started, Im usually on a roll! Then its stopping thats hard lol!

Though thats an interesting thing I said upthere...u know...the part about "everybody has something that they find blah blah". Thats just scratching the surface of something thats far deeper....and quite interesting actually (atleast for me :p). I usually dont have any problems with nearly anyone I meet, regardless of how different or how "good" or "baaaad" someone is (good and bad are relative terms) because I believe it could easily have been me that was him or him that was me ( : / lol) . For example there are people out there that love to showoff....fine! dont hate them for it, the human mind and personality can be a complicated thing, sometimes an annoying little showoff can be quite a loyal friend with some major social issues lol!....and we all know life isnt easy.

I think alot, and I walk alot too (I gotta thank my granddad for that walking habit) and really enjoy discussing, reading, and learning about human philosophy. I also believe that one must take the time to understand themselves better. There are some people who like to call themselve introverts, while others proudly claim themselves as extroverts. The way I see it, both are two extremes and being either one of them is just not socially healthy. Extroverts seek and often hunt for others company, almost like the presence of others fills them with energy. Though such reliance on others company can often leave one weak of both self confidence ( though they are confident around others) and self realization. Introverts on the otherhand are full of self confidence and really dont need others opinions and presence. They can easily do things on their own, and will often enjoy doing so. But being enclosed in their "world" they will seldom get into the spotlight or take any real action pertaining to the general public. Such an existance can be quite selfish.

I have always tried to find blance in life (it was only later did I realise im a Libra...man them Zodiac signs are creepy!), and with the case of introverts and extroverts its best to be right there somewhere in between. Think about it. Introverts usually understand themselves better than anyone else....but in time one realizes how similar we all really are, and this opens the road to acceptance of others better than any other road I know of. Similarily extroverts are often helpless without someone elses presence, and the site of one in such a condition is quite pathetic. Know yourself by testing yourself.

I aint no saint (mind you...I aint no devil either :p)....I got my problems just like im sure YOU have your own...but hey! shit happens...dont go barkin off ur frustrations at someone else. Think twice before you rebuke someone. Patience is a virtue, and with it comes understading.

Ah, forgive me...I get too into it sometimes...but its just a thaught.

Hmmm....what else? Ahh Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer was released yesterday!! =D
...though with my exams right around the corner, I'm probably gonna catch the herald of galactus in action on July 2nd.

That friend of mine will also be here sometime around the 28th, HOPEFULLY, with his camera! Ive been in Sydney now for almost a year and have only made one set of videos....i know! im ashamed of myself too! But soon...yes soon, expect loads of videos of me and my friends checking out the sites and sounds of this beautiful city.

Another friend of mine will also be comming over during the semester break, and to top it all off, my big brother will be here aswell from Canberra. Its gonna be a busy semester break! lol

Oh, before I forget, in Anime news...I caught the latest episode of Naruto Shipuuden and was disapointed by the animation of the characters once again. Though while waiting for it I DID read the manga (forgive me! I couldnt resist!!) and so am aware of how the current story arc will unfold. Im just disapointed with the new older character art. The original 135 episode character art was much better. Another peace of big news was the first episode of Devil May Cry the anime! After seeing it, I can say with full confidence that I am going to be following this series quite closely...bou't time a kickass action packed, stylish anime NOT revolving around school/college children strolled into town.

...and the World of Warcraft still lingers....okay thats an understatement....its present in a BIG way. (Damn! I shouldnt have gotten back into this during exam time.....sigh)

Lured back into the World of Warcraft

Hey there people!

Not much has happened this week. Except my re-entry into the World of Warcraft. I bought the game last december and my account finished in march. This was followed by a little over 2 months of absence and then with all this free time near my vacations, I couldnt resist....

What is it about this game!? Well, ive played all of the warcraft games that have preceded it, so for me "living" and seeing the sites of Azeroth is enough to make me jump in. On top of that you have an excellent set of skills and professions to master that will keep you busy for days if not months! My only complain is the slow pace of leveling up in the later levels of the game particularly lvl30+.

Anyway, for those interested...they can find me in Nagrand as either the warrior Gilgemish or the Hunter Marathis.

Apart from that, its been raining for 3 and a half days now and the house is just getting colder with the lack of sunlight. Our house is situated in a place where little sunlight can get through making it a terrible location to live during winter....I can only look forward to the summers where the tempretures will be far better inside.

Anime News
I havent seen the latest Naruto episode yet, BUT I have a feeling Bleach has entered another filler arc! and soo soon! I hope Naruto doesnt follow the same path, though I have a feeling it will after the rescue Gaara arc.

Well, not much else has happened in thie really wet week, hopefully the next week shall be brighter. Spent most of the week indoors listening to my music library on random and engaged in WoW(World of Warcraft).

What a wet weekend. Its been raining since Friday, and with the way our house is structered, (not much sunlight) , its extra cold inside!

Movie news:

Though that didnt deter me from going out to see Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End. T'is about time!

SPOILER
The movie turned out to be very good! If I have one complaint, its how they utilized Admiral Norringtons character. I really liked his role in the first two films, but his role in this third film was diminished and came to a quick end. Apart from that, the story concluded very nicely for all of the characters involved and managed to put in alot of new characters. Pirates 3 did what I thought near impossible for it to do at its current state:

1- It made room for a sequel that you will ACTUALLY look forward to (I thought there was only soo much of Jack Sparrow and the others I could take, but this movie managed to get the magic back in, thanks to all the new characters and locations)
2- Orlando Bloom whom I didnt like in the first two really stood out in this third film. He seems to have matured as an actor. Though his fate in the film was predictable, it fits nicely into the overall story.

END SPOILER

So...if you havent already seen the three pirates of the caribbean movies, nows the best time to jump in!

In other news It was revealed that Warner Brothers has optioned Terry Brooks Shannara series! Exceptionaly exciting news for me since Ive read all of Terry's Shannara books to date and am a big fan of the series. I hold his Elf Stones of Shannara book (2nd to be released in the series) as my all time favorite novel. It gets better! WB will most likely start with this very Second book! For those who are familiar with the books will understand the reason behind this: The first book "The Sword of Shannara" mimics The fellowship of the ring for about the 1/3 of the book. It would be better to make it as a prequel.

Anime Related stuff:

After finishing the first part of Naruto based on the manga, I couldnt help but start Naruto: Shipuuden. Though the new character art turned me off initially, the anime has quickly picked up pace. Already 4 members of Akatsuki(spelling?) have been seen in combat, with more to come. Personally Garaa was my favorite character, which is all the more reason why Im enjoying the current story arc.
The latest episode of bleach wasnt bad either. The animation quality is QUITE noticably better.

Gamming news:

n
Not much to speak about here. Though I had intended to buy the Xbox360 earlier this year, there was an unexpected set back to that plan. Now it seems I'll be getting it QUITE a while later. Though my excitement for some of the games comming out for it hasnt waned one bit. Im still waiting on Mass Effect, Halo3, Too Human, GTA IV, Bioshock, Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon.

The recent news of Starcraft II on the way is also something to be excited about! Blizzard seems to be sticking to the old formula for which im thankfull. Blizzard has been known to add polish to generes that make them standout from the rest of the crowd in a "Damn, Why are the rest like this?" kind of way. After seeing Starcraft II in motion I'm pretty sure they're gonna do it agian.

Well, life goes on, All my assignments have been submitted this session and Im left with just two exams on the 25th and 2nd of July respectively. Cash is always low though.........back to eating lots of salami sandwiches and Noodles I guess (brings back memories of my hostel years in FUIMCS back in Rawalpindi). The winters are getting colder so I bought this nice little hot water bottle (since my room is just too big for a heater to heat quickly). The bottle works like a charm when I tuck it into my comforter before going to bed.

As mentioned before, I hope my friend brings that Video camera I told him to bring! I have alot of videos to make of Sydney to send back to my family and friends back home...Im thinking of doing an episodic kinda thing.....heh cant wait!

One last assignment to go! This friday by midnight I shall have some free time till the finals which start on the 25th of June for me. Quite a big gap =D

I gotta see the new Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End movie. Ive heard alot about it, and most of it has been positive, but really....I enjoyed the first, and thought the second was alot better. This third installment was a must see for me the momment I got off my seat from the 2nd movie.

Im also usually low on cash......there is no peace of the mind. Gonna shelve out 55 bucks to join the University gym today! Get me self in to shape!

Then there are all these Sci-Fi and Fantasy Novels that I want to get my hands on.....not to mention all the Anime out there aswell! I recently saw the first 135 episodes of Naruto and can easily say without a doubt that it really IS one of the best Anime series out there. Though my experience with Naruto Shipuuden has not been so great. I dont like the look of the new characters and the animation quality seems to have gone down.

Bleach on the other hand seems to have improved on its animation quality since comming back from the filler episodes and is getting exciting again. Apart from this, there is Heroic Age (A new ongoing anime) that im watching but only on and off really......I long for another Robotech!

Well, im signing off for now...more later as the vacations draw closer and maybe my views on Pirates 3 aswell!
